SCRIPTURAL TEXT: : Galatians 2:2
And I went up by revelation…
Anyone would grope in the dark and move with much difficulty and
limitation when the lights are out. However, the conditions become
completely different when the light is turned on. Direction, accuracy
and speed become effortlessly possible in the presence of light. This is true also,
touching our lives and walk with God.
Little wonder, Apostle Paul in our opening scripture, acknowledged that he went up by revelation. This
means that he advanced and made progress in line with God’s plan, by revelation. Revelation happens, when a measure of the Holy Spirit’s light shines upon a subject matter, thereby imparting an understanding that would have remained otherwise unknown and inaccessible.
This understanding, empowers the believer with the know-how and access codes on how to make progress and how to make things work!
Desiring to advance therefore, without securing the light of revelation puts one in subjection to many
limitations and difficulty;- just as the man who tries to move in a dark room. So, make it your priority to seek after the light of revelation through the Holy Ghost, by searching the Scriptures, assimilating Word-related resources, and praying in the Spirit always. This way, you will go up by revelation. Hallelujah!
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, flood my heart with the light of your word, cause me to increase in the knowledge of your word in Jesus name.
