SCRIPTURAL TEXT: MATTHEW 13:44 KJV
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a
man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and
buyeth that field.”

Seeking God is allowing the desire of God to overwhelm you in a way
that forms the basis of your judgment, decision, and destination. As
believers, we are often burdened with our needs that we forget to seek
the fullness of God who has the ability to meet our needs.
Our scripture for today shows us an example of how we should be passionate about seeking God and his
kingdom; we see a man who sold all he had to buy a field that has treasures buried in it. But, this is not the
case for many believers today. Many would rather spend their energy, time, and resources on things that
will only bring pleasure to them. However, finding God is worth more than all our pleasures because,
God in Himself is our biggest pleasure. Thus, instead of seeking pleasure or needs, we could invest our
passion in seeking God and his kingdom.
As believers, the kingdom of God is valued above everything we would ever want, and seeking the
kingdom adds everything else to us (Mathew 6:33); our miracle is embedded in the kingdom. Say
Amen!!!
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, help me to be passionate about your
kingdom in Jesus name.

Background: Liechtenstein has changed from a feudal backwater in the 1930s to a sophisticated and affluent modern
state. The vast majority of native citizens are Catholics, albeit most are only nominal while non-religion and Islam are
growing rapidly.
We are praying for the Christians in this nation that they will be examples of believers in the land.
We are praying for divine guidance for the leadership of this nation when faced with fierce challenges and
opportunities on the domestic and international fronts.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in
Jerusalem and that your purposes be
established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
We pray and declare that the body of Christ will have one mind;
that they speak with one voice, mission, and purpose on earth in
Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, pour out your Spirit mightily upon the lost and unsaved souls in our city so that
many would begin to receive the Gospel that we preach.
