SCRIPTURAL TEXT: Colossians 4:2
“Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.”

The provocation of the enemy through the lack in your life is to make you fear. The devil wants to show you what is missing in your life so you can fear. This is because he wants to rob you. The devil is able to shut the door of answered prayers if there is fear in your life. This is why you must vehemently refuse to fear.
Our opening scripture shows us that thanksgiving should not just be an addition to prayer. Rather, it is and should be an integral part of every prayer session, as it completes the circle of prayer. This means that we must give thanks as much as we pray.
In the natural, when someone makes a promise to us and it delays a little longer than expected, we would often send out reminders to the person intermittently so that the promise made to us would not be forgotten. When it comes to God, thanksgiving is the way to make your name remain on God’s priority list. It also provokes God to fulfil His promises to you against all odds. By sincere and acceptable thanksgiving, you move into a season of God’s performance.
Make a decision today to spend time thanking God for all things He has promised you in time past, no matter how long ago it has been. Do not stop thanking Him after doing it once; continue to do so until you get to testify.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, I pray that thanksgiving will be a part of my life in Jesus name.

Islam is an increasing challenge. Islam is growing in size and ambition. Muslims seek to Islamize the regions where they are prevalent, to implement Shari’a law, to increase their presence in civil services and the government and to convert non-Muslims through financial inducements.
Y: We are praying for more labourers in the land who will not be ashamed to share their faith.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6).
PRAYER FOR NATIONS/LEADERS
Dear Father, raise up righteous leaders who fear You and will judge in accordance with the laws of the land. Give them wisdom during divisive times to do what is right.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
We pray that the gates of hell against the church will not prevail in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will bless our outreaches weekly, that they will be productive in reaching the people of this city and its environs.
