🛎 CRACK THE STRONG BONE
(#1 Daily Devotional Tract by Dr. Isaiah & Lianna Wealth)
🗓 Tuesday, 2nd May, 2017.
📜 SCRIPTURAL TEXT:
“And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father’s sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: I went out after him, and smote him…”
🔹 🔹 🔹
It is the attitude of some to run away from tough questions and difficult situations, but definitely not David as our scriptural text for today suggests. Instead of running in the opposite direction, He braces up to face the challenge head on until he prevails. We definitely have a thing or two to learn from him.
Avoiding tough situations which I call the strong bones will only weaken your spiritual and mental muscles. By settling for excuses and generating reasons why things cannot work, a believer is only declaring that God’s Grace is not sufficient to handle that issue, but that is untrue. God’s wisdom is available to those who ask (James 1:5).
Instead, dedicate time to seeking the face of God and researching on how to resolve every challenge. Pray on the issue, consult where necessary, but no matter what, do not quit until you make a headway or find a solution. This develops your capacity to manage tough situations in life, developing your mind and your spirit in the process. Haleluyah!

🌍 CHRISTIAN MISSION FOCUS
Let’s pray for Nepal 🇳🇵…
The largest religion is Hinduism with 93% unreached with the Gospel. Freedom of religion is guaranteed by law, but only in limited measures. Non-Hindus cannot proselytize. If they do, they risk fines, imprisonment and, in the case of expatriates, expulsion.
🙏🏼We are praying for believers in Nepal that they will remain courageous to witness about Christ.
🔹 START-UP PRAYER:
Dear Lord, help me never to turn my back on tough situation but develop the capacity to handle them in Jesus name.
🔹 PRAYER OF REDEDICATION:
Father, I thank you for the salvation of my soul and the privilege of seeing the fifth month of 2017. I desire to grow in the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, and to develop in every area of my life by the power of your Spirit. I yield myself to your Spirit to work in me that which is well pleasing in your sight oh Lord and I consecrate my whole body, spirit and soul to you today in Jesus Name. Amen
