Daily Devotional: YOU CAN MOBILIZE YOUR THANKSGIVING

2 Corinthians 1:11.

“Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks maybe given by many on our behalf”

Mobilized thanksgiving is another
important form of thanksgiving. It is causing thanksgiving to go up to God by
blessing His creation. For example, when you bless someone through an act of
kindness, that person’s heart rejoices and he or she is motivated to give
thanks to God for your sake. By being a blessing to that person, you have
provoked him or her to thank or bless God on your behalf. This is mobilized
thanksgiving.

Paul says “I thank my God upon every
remembrance of you.” not because of what God has done for him but because of
what the Philippian Church has communicated to him. Imagine someone has not
eaten for three days and he/she had never told you about it but because of your
compassion, you were sensitive enough to reach out and get some food supplies
across to the person. Everyday he/she makes a meal, he gives thanks to God on
your behalf and that is recorded to your account.

Set up yourself for mobilized thanksgiving
in this season. You could visit the orphanage home and make some donations or
share some foodstuffs. You could participate in the yearly Jesus feast
organized by the church. It is would surely account to you because the person
will continually give thanks to God on your behalf.

Prophecy 1: May you be an instrument of blessings to
others today in Jesus name. Amen.

Prophecy 2: As you step out today, may lack be far away from you in Jesus name. Amen.

Action Points.

W: Consider what to give today to cause others to give God praise on
your behalf.

X: I decree and I declare, that my joy is full today.

distinct dialect.

Y: We are praying for more missionaries to the less-reached sections of the nation.

Startup prayer: Dear Lord, give me a heart of compassion for the needy around me in Jesus name. Amen.

PRAYER FOR JERUSALEM

Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Psa. 122:6).

PRAYER OF REDEDICATION:

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for your never-ending love towards me, and for your faithfulness and mercies that I enjoy with every new day. To you be all praise forevermore. I come before you today with all my heart, declaring my love for you and my sole dependency on you. I declare that I trust you with my whole heart even as I consecrate my whole body, soul, and spirit to you right now. Let your will be done in my life today and every day in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
