SCRIPTURAL TEXT: 1 Samuel 17:48-49
And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and
ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and
slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to
the earth.
Procrastination is one of the greatest strategies of our adversary. It is one of his tricks to slow us down before eventually stopping us. Our opening scripture shows that when Goliath came forward to meet David, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him. David put his hand into his bag and took out a stone and slung it, and it struck Goliath, sinking into his forehead.
When the enemy shows up to quench your momentum and kill your dreams, you must be ready.
The scripture says that David ran quickly toward the battle line. Are you facing a hard decision or a difficult problem to solve, do not be slack or hesitant about it. Rather, aggressively pursue your dreams. Refuse to allow anyone or anything to slow down your momentum or quench you by fear. Do not delay; whatever needs to be done, go for it and do it now.|
The scripture also says that David reached into his bag and took stones, because, he already had them
prepared. Preparation creates confidence and confidence produces momentum. So, David was confident in God and in the power of His might. That was why he won the battle. You too can be victorious over your battles if you begin to apply this strategy. Glory to God!
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, I receive strength today over every spirit of lazinessand procrastination in my life, I push towards the mark set this year in Jesus name.

1. We are praying that the Christians in Bougainville will be strengthened in their inner man to walk in love towards all and be an example to all believers.
2. Dear lord, give our leaders humility and respect for one another.
