SCRIPTURAL TEXT: GENESIS 1:27
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

As an image of God, you essentially carry his nature; hence, you are a god and a king. This is why, if you look closely at all of man’s interests, you will notice that domination is the driving force behind them all. It is about having the power and control to use everything in the physical realm for its intended purpose. Although, men now desire domination in unhealthy, selfish ways, and are reaping the consequences, however, dominion is what we seek, even if most people are pursuing it for the wrong reasons right now.
God rules over the heavens and has given man the right to rule over the earth (Psalms 115:16). However, as His representatives, we give Him permission to function on the earth. But, it is not in an authoritative manner, as if He needs to seek our approval; it is by way of alignment with him. You have the option of aligning yourself with the King’s will and allowing Him to operate in and through you to bring His will to fruition on the earth. He will not overturn our authority if we do not align ourselves with His will.
Hence, it is wisdom and profiting to align yourself to the will of God, for your good and that of mankind at large. Determine today to exercise your dominion only within God’s specification and style.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, I yield myself to you, let my pursuit in life align with your purpose for mankind in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR KYRGYZ
57% are unreached with the Gospel. The government of Kyrgyzstan needs courage, resources, and even miracles to right the economy and society in general. The regimes subsequent to Communism have thus brought about only greater corruption, crime, and poverty.
Y: We are praying for a just and righteous government that will oversee the genuine transformation of the Kyrgyz nation.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6).
PRAYER FOR NATIONS/LEADERS
: We pray for the President of this nation, give him divine wisdom to lead this country.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
We pray oh Lord; bind the church together in love in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for the outpour of your Spirit upon this city, that we may overcome the barriers and the resistance against the Gospel, that many may come to the true light of the Lord Jesus Christ.
