thou fearest God, seeing 0thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me

The different challenges that we may encounter in our journey in life is
sometimes a test from the Lord to determine where our faith and
trust lie. It might sound surprising but it is scriptural. God puts his
servants through diverse tests. Never feel so broken in the season of your test
because for every test there is a promotion when you scale through the test.
We see in our scriptural text how Abraham was tested to sacrifice his only and beloved son to the Lord. As
hard as this sacrifice was to Abraham, he did not withhold his son. He yielded wholeheartedly to the
voice of God and took his son to the mountain to sacrifice him there. He did not even create an
alternative for the sacrifice but his obedience brought a supernatural supply.
This singular act provoked God on his behalf, and the provision he needed to make the sacrifice was not
only made available by an angel but God made a covenant of blessing with Abraham and his generation
forever. This can be your experience too. Hallelujah!
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, strengthen me in the time of my test to
pass my test in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR LESOTHO
Background: Lesotho is a Christian nation with just about 8% unreached with the gospel but, most were never fully converted.
The social pressure against becoming born again is wielded by traditional religious forces. The churches in Lesotho maintain a low
impact on society.
We are praying that the Christians in the land will know the person of Jesus and completely surrender to Him.
Dear Father, raise up righteous leaders who fear You and will judge in accordance with the laws of the land. Give
them wisdom during divisive times to do what is right.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in
Jerusalem and that your purposes be
established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
We pray that the gates of hell against the church will not prevail in
Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will bless our outreaches weekly, that they will be productive in
reaching the people of this city and its environs.
