SCRIPTURAL TEXT: 1 kings 18: 43-44
And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times. And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not.
As earlier defined, prayer is the right and privilege given only to righteous men by God in discovering, creating, restoring, and enforcing the will of God in and around us by the release of sufficient quantities of eternity through the spirit. The definition above enlightens us deeply on the importance and efficacy of prayers
In prayers, our eyes are enlightened to discover the will of God but that’s not all; we are also able to dislodge every opposition and enforce the will of God. In our scriptural text, we see the prophet Elijah persisting in prayers to enforce the word of prophecy concerning rainfall after a long-season drought. It is not enough to discover that the will of God is a total restoration and recovery of everything you have lost; you must enforce it by fervent prayers because the effectual fervent prayers of a righteous man make tremendous power available (James 5:16). Persist therefore in prayers until you see the manifestation.

Z: Dear Lord, we pray that our leaders will be emotionally and psychologically whole in Jesus name.
