SCRIPTURAL TEXT: GEN 20:14
And Abimelech took sheep, and oxen, and menservants and women servants and gave
them to Abraham, and restored him Sarah his wife
The dictionary defines the word restoration as the act of returning something
to its former owner, place, or condition. It is also the giving back of something that was lost or stolen to its rightful owner. The terms ‘lost’, ‘stolen’, and ‘giving back’, indicate that for something to be successfully restored, its former or rightful owner must be known.
This means that you cannot insist on a restoration when you do not possess the knowledge of what has been taken from you.
It is no news that there is a devil who goes about seeking to steal, kill and destroy. He knows what he does and he’s quite good at it.
Notwithstanding, it’s vital to realize that his stealing ministry is at the mercy of your ignorance of what belongs to you in God, or your unwillingness to take back your already stolen inheritance.
As a believer, therefore, you too have to be good at knowing what’s rightfully yours and insisting on restoration where necessary! Halleluyah!
In our opening scripture, we observe that Abimelech took a hold of Abraham’s wife, but God commanded him to not just return Abraham’s wife, but to do so with gifts. This teaches us that our God is a God of Restoration. This season there is a prophetic push for your restoration; and just as Abraham got much more than was taken from him, you too will receive much more. Say I BELIEVE IT!

Dear Father, restore unto me all that was taken from me in Jesus’ name

to receive instruction for justice, judgment, and equity.
