FEAR NOT – Daily Devotional

Isaiah 35:4

_Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you._

Satan’s greatest weapon against God’s elect is fear. Fear is the confidence in the ability of the enemy to bring destruction; this locks you out of the realm of possibilities. Where fear exists, there is unbelief in God’s ability to save. The longer this happens, doubt grows bigger, and your faith fades away quickly. Unbelief sets in when what you have asked God for has not manifested or seems like it is taking long.

The scriptural text today is a reminder of the ability and willingness of God to save and to recompense our adversaries. This is enough reason to cast off fear and rekindle your faith as the hand of God is stronger and bigger than the hands of our adversary, and our problems put together.

Say no to that spirit of fear, get up and walk in faith. God has risen for your sake to pull you out of your problems and push you into your doors of testimonies. You are about to receive a mighty leap and never to remain the same. Say Amen!!

Prayer for the day: Dear Father, I refuse to walk in unbelief and I say no to fear in my life in Jesus name.

Jamaica

Jamaican Christianity needs reformation and renewal. It enjoys one of the world’s highest number of churches per square mile, but the majority of self-proclaimed Christians in Jamaica neither attend church nor lead a Christian life.

Y: We are praying for the Churches in Jamaica that Christ will constantly be their aim and focus.

Prayer for leaders/nation: Dear Lord, we pray for the leaders that they will be honest, morally upright, and have strong principles in line with your standard of righteousness; that they will not accept bribes or work for their own ends, but for the benefit of the people.

Prayer for Israel: Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city, Amen (Ps 122:6).

Prayer for Unity in the Church: We pray, oh Lord give the leaders of the church a perfect heart, a heart that continually seeks you in Jesus name.

Prayer for Souls/Revival: Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for the support of angelic beings, saints of old, and a manifestation of the person of Jesus for the evangelization of this city.
