SCRIPTURAL TEXT: 1 TIMOTHY 1:18
This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you,
that by them you may wage the good warfare

any believers are laden with so many un-manifested promises of God- they
are so rich with the blessings of God in heavenly places but with no physical
evidence. And after a while, they become weary and lose faith. The fact that
you have a promise from God does not mean it will manifest, you have to fight for it.
Paul exhorts Timothy to fight the battle valiantly, indicating that it is possible to fight
poorly or not at all. Sadly, for many Christians, this is the situation.
The heaven is the Lord’s and the earth He has given to mankind (Psalms 115:16). So, whenever you receive a promise
from God, it remains in Heavenly places (Ephesians 1:13) until you pull it down to earth, and it is your prayers that
pulls it down. James 5:17 tells us that Elijah was a human being just like us, but he prayed and it did not rain in the
land for three and half years. Prayer gives God the legal right to act on earth; it releases angels to act on your behalf.
Bearing in mind that prophecy not prayed is property not claimed, it is therefore imperative that you stand up and
fight. Refuse to be discouraged, refuse to faint, fight in the place of prayer, meditate on the promise, build up your
faith by studying the word, confess your prophecy, until you see the manifestation of the words that have gone ahead
of you. Glory to God!!!
