SCRIPTURAL TEXT: JEREMIAH 29:136
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart

God is in the Spirit realm and to find God, we must seek Him with all of our
hearts. Seeking God halfheartedly will do no good. And to engage all your
heart, you need to concentrate and focus. Your heart is the instrument for
seeking and searching for God but it has to be with total focus. Being absentminded or distracted when you engage in the things of the spirit will affect your
spiritual senses negatively because untrained eyes will not see God.
We seek God when we praise, pray, and study the Word with all our hearts. These spiritual activities are not for
God but to help us in the unification of our spirit and His Spirit. They help to bring us into stillness to facilitate a
connection, and once that connection is established, we begin to see and interact in the spirit realm.
Train the eyes of your heart to see as you study the Word, picture what you read in the Word by meditation and
imagination. Visualize God in your heart when you praise and worship; see God working out answers when you
pray. Therefore, learn to concentrate and shut out distractions when you engage in spiritual activities. This way,
your spiritual senses will be alert and you will begin to have supernatural encounters.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, help me to fellowship with you without distractions in
Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR LIBERIA
Background: The physical needs in Liberia are many – poverty, illiteracy and under-education, HIV/AIDS,
etc,. Islam’s expansion is also alarming as Liberia remains a major target for African Islam.
We are praying for the unsaved in Liberia that they will meet Christ and be turned to the Lord.
Father, we pray that you will bless our leaders with good health and with safety.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in
Jerusalem and that your purposes be
established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
We pray for leaders of churches to put the vision of God for the
church ahead of their own interest at all times.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that you will open every blind eye to the Gospel of Christ, that they
may see the life Christ has purchased for us.
