SCRIPTURAL TEXT: Matthew 17:21
Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting
In science, momentum is defined as the product of the mass and velocity of an object.
It is the force coherent in a moving object, or the extent of impact that an object can
have on another.
It is true to establish then that, the measure of momentum a person
or thing generates, will determine the measure of impact or changes he can cause.
From our opening scripture, we see the place of spiritual momentum in causing desired
changes in the realms of the spirit.
Fasting and prayer, remains an indispensable key to generating spiritual momentum. There are certain things in our lives that won’t change until we fast and pray. In the verses preceding our opening scripture, the disciples of Jesus had tried to cure the diseased boy but they could not. However, when Jesus came and rebuked the devil tormenting the boy, the devil came out immediately and the boy was set free. This happened because, Jesus had already gained a level of momentum by a life of fasting and prayer, which the disciples did not have. And so with that momentum, He was able to effect that level of result!
As it is with the Lord, so it must be with you. Strive daily therefore, towards gaining spiritual momentum, in order to be able to triumph over situations as they come your way. As no one learns how to shoot on the battlefield. So, you must begin to intentionally engage in momentum-building activities, in preparation for the challenges of life that might
spring up. Halleluyah!
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, I ask for grace to build the necessary momentum, I need to handle every situation in my life daily in Jesus name
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR THE UNITY OF THE CHURCH
We pray that the gates of hell against the church will not prevail in Jesus name.

After the war, out of the 1.3 million who fled to other lands only 400,000 had returned by 2000. Most of the
internally displaced are still homeless. Only a very small percentage of the population has ever been clearly presented with the Gospel.
1. We are praying for more missionaries to be directed to Bosnia and that the door of the Gospel will be opened in the land.
2. Dear father, raise up righteous leaders who fear You and will judge in accordance with the laws of the land. Give them wisdom during divisive times to do what is right

Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will bless our outreaches weekly, that they will be productive in reaching the people of this city and it’s environs.
