In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus

Gratitude is a strong feeling of appreciation to someone for what the person has done for you. A general attitude of gratitude in both trials and testimonies of life distinguishes us as believers. Apostle Paul exhorts us in the scriptures to give thanks for all things, in all circumstances.
As Christians, we are to imbibe an attitude of gratitude not because things would always be perfect or good in our lives but because, gratitude is what our Father wants from us.
This goes on to open our understanding further to the fact that God wants us to shift our gaze from the situation around us to Him because, it is only in doing so that you can truly develop gratitude in your heart towards Him, knowing that He has all things under control.
You might be going through a lot of challenges and seemingly overwhelming situations that have shifted your focus from God and the abundant goodness He has brought your way.
Always remember that God is more than able to do far above your imagination. So, release yourself from unnecessary pressures and begin to thank Him for every single good thing you can remember. Imagine and see His goodness all around and watch your focus begin to shift back to Him.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, help me to see you in everything in Jesus
name.
PRAYER FOR MADAGASCAR
Background: Animism prevails with strong Muslim influence in the north and northwest of Madagascar, and 80% of the south is still non-Christian. Inaccessibility is the greatest challenge, and missionaries have thus far failed to penetrate these regions effectively.
We are praying for wisdom upon the government of the nation to handle the inaccessibility challenge affecting the
Gospel. Grant our legislator’s wisdom to advise the President in the best course of action he should take for the good of the nation
and not for their own selfish interest.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in
Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
We pray that every attempt of hell to sabotage and discredit the
Church will not stand in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you would grant unto the unsaved souls in our city, divinely
orchestrated encounters and appearances with the person of angels, the Lord Jesus Christ, that will lead to
genuine conversions in the name of Jesus.
