HAVE TRUTH AS A FOUNDATION – Daily Devotional

SCRIPTURAL TEXT:
Jesus answered and said unto them, ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
Matthew 22:29.

The Word of God would often come to you in different forms. These forms include; Truth (logos), Revelation (rhema), and Mystery (Hebrew: dabar). These three forms are unique and potent in their application and so vital for your possession of a complete faith.

While it is good to receive revelations and see visions, some believers find themselves operating only in visions, dreams and revelations without having a working knowledge of the truth from the scriptures. This is dangerous! Any revelation that doesn’t line up with the truth can be misleading. Such believers find themselves having a brittle faith which easily breaks.

It is therefore necessary to have a foundation thoroughly grounded in the truth of scriptures before building on it with revelations and mysteries. Your faith will increase in longevity, malleability and ductility as you choose to build a foundation of truth. Hallelujah!

ACTION POINTS
TO ACTIVATE THE WORD IN YOU TODAY, CARRY OUT ALL THE ACTION POINTS (A – I) SEQUENTIALLY:

Do not be dependent on anything else but the word. Make it your sure foundation.

Dear Father, I pray that my life be founded on the word in Jesus name

E. REDEDICATE YOURSELF TO JESUS TODAY
Dear Father, I thank you for bringing me into the third month of 2022, and for your mercies over me since the year began. I am grateful for your ever-abiding presence in me and with me and I declare that my confidence is not in my own ability but in your Word. Help me to walk in faith throughout this month and to show forth your love to my world to the glory of your name. I consecrate my whole body, soul, and spirit to you today. Let your Name be glorified in me in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

G. PRAY FOR A COUNTRY IN NEED TODAY: BELIZE
7% of the people are unreached with the Gospel, and HIV/AIDS is a serious threat in that nation. There is 2.4% (and rising) infection rate which is the highest in Central America.
PRAY FOR BELIZE We are praying that the word of the Lord will have free course in the hearts of the people of Belize.

H.PRAY FOR JERUSALEM
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Psa. 122:6).
