SCRIPTURAL TEXT: 1 Timothy 1:18

This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;

Prophecy reveals to us the mind of God. It is not just intended to get us excited and run off without doing anything; rather prophecy leaves us the responsibility of exercising our faith, obeying instructions, and insisting on prayers until we see them manifest.

When God gives you a word, you ought to hold on to that word and war with it until it comes to pass. Warring with your prophecy is proof that you truly believe the Word and you are not ready to see it go unfulfilled. It is a declaration that you believe in the immutability and steadfastness of God’s promise and therefore you are ready to stake your very life upon it. This act of faith pleases God and also neutralizes the enemy who always tries to hinder the manifestation of God’s purposes in your life.

Has God said for you to pursue, overtake, recover all and multiply? YES, HE HAS. Therefore it is time to shut the devil out of your life and take back all that he stole from you in multiple folds. War with this prophecy by stepping out in faith, insisting on prayers, and obeying the instructions that may follow. The Word will surely manifest.
