SCRIPTURAL TEXT: Isaiah 40 vs 31
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up
with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not
Many times as believers, we often indulge the error of trying to do by
our own power, what God has asked us to do. When God sends us,
we try to go in our might. When He gives us a promise or we receive
a prophecy, we try to bring it to pass by our own hand. The end is often
frustration, fatigue and loss of peace. This ought not to be so.
The victories you will enjoy as a believer, can only be secured by active partnership with the Holy Ghost, not by your own might or your own strength. (Zechariah 4vs6). What God has said or promised, must be done in God’s way, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Our opening scripture reveals to us how to activate this.
The scriptures reveal that when we wait on the Lord, we end up exchanging our strength for His. This
means that we would pick up God’s own momentum, and thus, be able to do what He has called us to do.
Do you desire a new momentum in your personal life, career, ministry or business? Do you long to see what God has promised you fulfilled without having to practically kill yourself? Then you need to habitually engage in seasons of ministering to the Lord in worship, prayers, meditating on the Word and giving acceptable offerings. Your momentum is found in that secret place. Halleluyah!

Dear Father, help me to wait on you regularly in Jesus name.
