INSTRUCTION FOR RESTORATION – Daily Devotional

ll through scripture, we find that every miracle of God or manifestation of the supernatural was preceded by instruction. These instructions either came from God directly or through His prophets. When such instructions were carried out by those expected, we always saw the miracle power of God in the manifold display. How wonderful!

In our opening scripture, Jesus identifies a man with a withered hand and had compassion on him to heal him. Straightaway, He instructed the man to stretch out his hand! This was a great irony and contradiction, seeing that the man’s hand is withered; thus stretching out his hand is the very thing he cannot and has not been able to ever do. This would be like asking a lame man to climb a tree! Yet, we see the healing and restoration power of God released, just as the man-made a move to obey the instruction of Jesus. What a wonder! What if this man had refused in unbelief or fear, to stretch out his withered hand?

We see then that your restoration is not unconnected to an instruction from God. When God gives you an instruction either through His Spirit or through His prophet, you must not consider what friends, family, or social media may feel, think or say. Your obedience to that instruction is the gateway to your breakthrough and your ticket to all-round restoration. Glory to God!
