THE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS BY CHOOKAR & LOVEWORLD SINGERS – CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE

The meaning of Christmas is beyond our Saviour’s birth
It’s more than a merry season
The letters in Christmas from “C” to the letter “S”
is more than just a celebration

The Letter “C” means that Christ has come
Christ is born and He’s here now
“H” our hope for the glorious life is fulfilled

The letter “R” is the righteousness of God
That we have now become
No need to struggle to please the Lord

And “I” is our inheritance bestowed on us as
joint heirs with the Lord

The salvation that’s been consummated because
Christ has come is the first letter “S”

The meaning of Christmas is beyond our Saviour’s birth
It’s more than a merry season
The letters in Christmas from “C” to the letter “S”
is more than just a celebration

The letter “T” means to tell the untold
that Christ has come

Tell it all around the world
Through the ministry of reconciliation
That’s “M”

Letter “A” is the acceptance by
the Father of the whole world
No more will their sin, be held against them

And, the very last “S”
Means we’ve been brought into Sonship
Oh! Now we are the Sons of God

Now you see the reason
it’s beyond the celebration

C to the H-R-I-S-T, M to the A and S
Is a lot more about love
About love, The Father’s love

The meaning of Christmas is beyond our Saviour’s birth
It’s more than a merry season
The letters in Christmas from “C” to the letter “S”
is more than just a celebration
of our Saviour’s birth…
