Daily Devotional: JANUARY 16TH, 2021 – SET YOUR HEART TO OBEY

And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.

1 Kings 17:13 KJV

It is the beginning of another phase in your life. Setting the right foundation is of utmost importance. Set your heart right to give God’s word topmost priority also regard the instructions of His Prophet.

According to our scriptural text, we see that the Prophet gave the woman a specific instruction to make a little cake first for him before thinking of herself and her son. It was a very hard decision to make but, in the end, because she trusted in the word of the prophet she entered into surplus supply.

You can never lose acting in obedience to God’s word. No matter the situation, believe in the word of the prophet and you would prosper (2 Chron. 20:20). Set your heart to obey the instructions that have come from the mouth of your prophet as you step out today.

Prophecy 1: Receive supernatural multiplication and prosperity now in Jesus’ name, Amen!

Prophecy 2: As you step out today, may good news locate you in Jesus’ name, Amen!

W: Decide to promptly obey every instruction from the prophet of God.

Dear Father, I thank you for the gift of this new day and the privilege to see the first month of this year 2021. I declare that I am yours and I will do your will. Cause me to experience divine acceleration in all that I do today, that I may show forth your glory. I consecrate my whole body, soul and spirit to you right now, and I surrender my will to you today in Jesus Name. Amen.
