“It is not good to eat much honey: so for men to search their own glory is not glory.””

📝 Our scriptural text today is an interesting one, it says ‘it is not good to eat too much honey’. This is something to pause and ponder on. It shows that God is interested in all that concerns us, including what we eat.
Most of the foods and drinks we consume in our present day are mostly 90% of sugar, with just 10% of other healthy nutrients. This is the reason for most of the sicknesses and diseases that is ravaging our society with some having no cure. A lot of persons are so busy trying to meet the demands of life that they take little time to look into what they eat, most eat what is readily available.
You must know that maintaining a balanced diet is one core habit of successful people. So, if you desire to be successful then, you must take conscious effort, determination, and time to look into the foods that you eat. Learn to make your own food at home, more than eating out. This way, you can control the amount of sugar in your food and also ensure healthy nutrients are in it. Take more of vegetables and fruits; drink water more often than manufactured drinks. Remember, God is interested in your health and he wants you to succeed. Glory to God!!

Dear Father, I receive grace to maintain a healthy diet in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER FOR MALI 🇲🇱
Background: Mali has 60% of its populace unreached with the Gospel. Islam is the largest religion. The Church is taking root, however, the number of Christians has not increased enough even to keep pace with Mali’s rapid population growth.
We are praying for boldness, passion, and a burden for the unsaved to awaken in the churches and for a new wave of evangelism such as that happened in the 1980s.
Prayer for Leaders/nation: We pray for the President of this nation that you would grant him grace to know how to unify the country.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Psa. 122:6).
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you for establishing the church in faith in Jesus’s name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you for your will that no man should perish but that all should come to repentance.
