SCRIPTURAL TEXT: Acts 9:5
And he said, who art thou, Lord? And the lord said I am Jesus whom thou persecutes:
it is hard for thee to kick against the Pricks

The life of Paul is an interesting study. It reveals how a man’s ambition
can be channeled aright by an encounter. When he was going about
persecuting Christians, he thought he was doing the right thing and
that is why we should never be blinded by religion. He was exceptionally
zealous not knowing that his passion to persecute and kill Christians was a
seed placed in him by God, only that it had been misinterpreted and channeled wrongly.
His life was set right when he encountered Jesus on his way to carrying out his passion. This was where the
story changed; from being a persecutor of the Christians and an ardent resistor to the spread of the
gospel to one who devoted his entire life to the spread of the gospel throughout the earth. What a
testimony!
Take a minute to reflect on some characters, gifts, and talents that you have not been using rightly for
the kingdom’s sake, make up your mind to use these seeds in you to glorify God.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, help me to encounter you today in Jesus
name.
PRAYER FOR LEBANON
Background: Over 29% are unreached with the Gospel in Lebanon. Conversion to Christ, although legal, is nonetheless very
costly. Despite this, the number of those coming to Jesus is significantly increasing but the Shi’a Muslims are the fastest growing
population and increasingly influential.
We are praying for an outpour of God’s spirit upon the land that many will encounter Jesus and turn to the Lord.
May the President find the right advisors that will give him wise counsel. Expose and remove wrong people around
him that are up to no good.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in
Jerusalem and that your purposes be
established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR NATIONS/LEADERS
Dear Lord, give our leaders humility and respect for one another.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
We repent on behalf of the church for displeasing you, we choose
to pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love and oneness.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we thank You for the privilege to labour together with you and the angels in the
Kingdom through our prayers, we pray for the massive harvest of souls into the kingdom.
