SCRIPTURAL TEXT: 1 Samuel 1: 17
Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.

Peace is a state of tranquility or quiet, it is the absence of hostility and violence. But, this was not the case of Hannah as we see in scriptures. Hannah could not experience peace as she was childless and her adversary, Peninnah troubled her. And, that was why Eli the priest told her to “Go in Peace”. When you are working towards answered prayers, if you have not reached the realm of peace, you must not quit praying. This is because, the proof that you have received Prophecy; a sure word from God is the peace that you get.
The opposite of peace is worry, doubt, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, etc,. When there is no peace in your heart, you are stained. You cannot be worrying and be holy. This is exactly where the devil wants you to be but that devil is a liar. You have been transported into the kingdom of God and the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah!
Take away anything that steals your peace. Move out of the place of fear into the place of the Holy Ghost. The place of the Holy Ghost is a place of answered prayers. Be at peace now that your baby, your job, your breakthrough, and testimonies are coming now. God has remembered you. Hallelujah!
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, I pray that the peace of God that passes understanding will rest upon me today in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR KIRIBATI
Overpopulation and unemployment combined with increasing alcohol abuse create a difficult environment in which to grow up. I-Kiribati migrate for work on foreign ships but many return home with AIDS or drug problems.
Y: We are praying for a mighty revival in the land that many will seek the Lord in Kiribati.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6).
PRAYER FOR NATIONS/LEADERS
Grant our legislator’s wisdom to advise the President in the best course of action he should take for the good of the nation and not for their own selfish interest.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
We pray oh Lord; help us to grow in love and unity as directed by the Spirit in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for a blood-washed city that revival will hit this city, and churches will arise in every place and your name will be known to the uttermost part of the city.
