SCRIPTURAL TEXT: 1 Samuel 1: 10
And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord, and wept sore.

There are indeed certain provocations and problems we experience in life that causes bitterness of soul. Bitterness of soul refers to a feeling of misery and wretchedness. Hannah was in such a state due to her childlessness and guess what? She chose to pray unto the Lord.
Many Christians today choose the wrong response when they are in bitterness. They try to forget their bitterness by watching TV, listening to music, visiting friends or going out for a drink. The truth is; fear cannot be eradicated by procrastination. Here is what to do; take out time to stay in intense prayers submitting every fear and bitterness in your heart to the Lord just as Hannah did.
It is wisdom to convert the deep emotions in your heart from bitterness into prayer. Your emotional participation in your prayers gives personality to your prayers. When it touches your heart, then it can touch God.
Choose from henceforth to always respond to that feeling of bitterness with prayers. And just as Hannah received her breakthrough after she prayed, your answers are coming forth speedily. Hallelujah!

Dear Father, I ask for grace to make prayer my natural response to situations in my life in Jesus name.

Y: We are praying for a mighty revival in the land that the non-religious will realize they are lost without Christ.

Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6).

Dear Father, let the passion for souls be the driving force of the church.
