SCRIPTURAL TEXT: LUKE 17:1-3
And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain
apart, 2And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the
light. 3And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.

Prayer is an upward journey as we see with Jesus and the disciples in the scriptural
text. When you begin to pray, you ought to journey up the mountain and not to
remain at the base. Praying at the base of the mountain which means praying in
the flesh or praying with the multitude, changes nothing. You need to move up the
different levels of mountain to experience a change and have spiritual encounters.
The first level of the mountain once you leave the base and begin your journey up, is the level of change, just like we see
Jesus changed and was transfigured before the disciples. At this level, you can subdue your flesh in prayers and cause a change when you pray. This is good but there is much more. You can climb higher to the level of visions. This is when you
begin to have appearances and encounters in the visionary realm. At this level, when Jesus prayed, Moses and Elijah appeared, and His disciples saw them. This level requires greater focus and concentration than the level before it. At this level of prayers, your soul is subdued and your mind distractions are gone, you will begin to have visions and spiritual
appearances.
Fight distractions and anything that keeps you at the base of the mountain so you can move from your current level to a
higher level. Halleluyah!

Dear Father, help me to pray from the level of vision and encounters
in Jesus name

Background: Libya is an Islamic nation with over 70% unreached with the Gospel. The Christian community is growing,
but the Protestants and Independent groups which are more active in faith and practice are fewer compared to the nominal
ones. There is high demand for pastoral care across the denominations.
We are praying for the nominal Christians in Libya that they will burn with a passion for the lost.
Dear Lord, take away pride from our leaders that they may seek out good counsel, hear wisdom from others and
follow it.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in
Jerusalem and that your purposes be
established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Dear Father, help us to be perfected in unity, so that the whole
world may come to know you.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for men and women out there in the city who do not know you; we cry
out for their souls that they will be convinced of the reality of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection and
that they will be bold to accept and declare his lordship
