It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto
thy name, O Most High:

One of the ways we have learnt to appreciate our loved ones is presenting them with gifts. This is an attempt to express how much they mean to us and how much we value who they have been to us. With the gifts, we create a memorial of our love and commitment to them.
In the same way, an offering to God in thanksgiving is a memorial before Him, a sweet smelling savour. Did you take note of God’s response to the offering of Noah as seen in our scriptural reading today? God resolved not to henceforth curse the ground, which is the source of man’s food and sustenance.
Make a decision in your heart to thank the Lord in a big way this season. Resolve not to appear before Him empty-handed, remember that if it had not been for the Lord on your side you would not have made it. So, predetermine what you would offer Him as you come before Him in thanksgiving. A blessing awaits you, say Amen!
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, let my offering be acceptable in your
sight in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR MALAWI
Background: 12% are unreached with the Gospel. The Yawo tribe, mostly Muslim, remain the biggest missionary challenge in
Malawi and only a few have come to Christ. Various tribes in Malawi still practice traditional ethnic religion.
We are praying that the outreach attempts made by a partnership of evangelical missions especially to the Yawo tribe will
be fruitful.
Father, grant this nation wise leaders whose hearts will set to know and to search out true wisdom to receive instruction
for justice, judgment, and equity.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be
established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
We disappoint and bring to nought every device of the enemy to
bring division in the body of Christ in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we break every hindrance and discontinue every operation of Satan that has put
a blockage between us and the people that you want saved
