SCRIPTURAL TEXT: DEUTERONOMY 4:29
But if from thence thou shalt seek the lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if
thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul

To pursue is to follow or chase something or someone. You may say,
but God is in heaven, how do I pursue him? To pursue also means to
continue or proceed along a path or route, so even though God is in
heaven and you cannot see Him, you can follow his path diligently and his
path is indicated in his word.
Pursuit is only possible when there is knowledge about the form being pursued. What do you know
about God? He said you will find him if you search for him with all your heart. Many Christians only
remember God when there is a problem and that is why they always have problems as God cannot be
mocked.
Remember this, the creation will always respond to the creator. Every challenge in your life will give way
when the creator is magnified in your life. Do not pursue God because you want to be free from
challenges, pursue him because you love him. This way, you will be setting up yourself for an encounter.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, all I want is You. Help me to pursue you
with my life in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR LEBANON
Background: Over 29% are unreached with the Gospel in Lebanon. Conversion to Christ, although legal, is nonetheless very costly.
Despite this, the number of those coming to Jesus is significantly increasing but the Shi’a Muslims are the fastest growing population
and increasingly influential.
We are praying for more trained ministers who will be useful in rehabilitating the youths from drugs and disciple them.
Father, give them leaders that will make laws to protect the freedom of the people so that they can live peaceful, quiet
lives in godliness and dignity.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in
Jerusalem and that your purposes be
established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
We pray against every devil from hell, infesting the body of Christ
with hate, pride, arrogance and factions, we come against it in
Jesus name
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will add saved souls unto us as they come to the knowledge of
the truth, that they may become part and parcel of this vision.
