SCRIPTURAL TEXT: Deuteronomy 8:18
“But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may
establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.”
God is a God of wealth. He is the Creator and Owner of the entire universe. His wealth includes man, the earth, planets, angels, the universe, the multiverse, heaven and other creation beyond our present horizon. Just like an earthly father often delights to share his wealth with his children, it is your
heavenly Father’s pleasure to do so even much more.
It is so interesting to know that God gives the ability to get wealth. This means that within every believer is a deposit of unique potential and the ability of God to create wealth, as we see in our scriptural text. God has given us the power to be successful in this life so that we can be blessed and thus, be a blessing to the whole earth. This was God’s covenant with Abraham. We must therefore, remember that God’s purpose of wealth is to bless all nations by turning them away from their iniquity. This is only made possible by the advancement of the saving Gospel of Jesus.
In our time, a great deal of finances is needed for the propagation of the Gospel and must be readily made available when God needs it for His kingdom. Prayer is the spiritual blood of ministry, while money is the physical blood. So, take your place today in advancing the course of the kingdom with your wealth. Halleluyah!
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, I receive power to get wealth and propagate the Gospel in Jesus name.

Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
