SCRIPTURAL TEXT:ACT 3:19
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come
from the presence of the Lord;

As a believer, you must understand the place of repentance and the value of
Christ’s blood, if you must access God at deeper levels. The blood of Jesus
was shed not only to save you from sin but to also cleanse you. If you are
saved and not cleansed, you will have a future appointment with God but your
appointment for the present is cancelled. This means, if you are saved but do not
take advantage of the blood to purge and cleanse yourself regularly, you will make it to heaven at the end but you
cannot have access to heavenly encounters today because, your present access to God will be denied.
The blood of Jesus is not only for your salvation from earth to heaven but also for your transportation in the
spirit. You must therefore know how to use the blood daily for yourself. The blood of Jesus is first a purifier that
makes us worthy to access God, and then a weapon against the enemy.
Sin denies us access to God therefore, living a life of repentance and cleansing through the blood is a very
important key to having encounters with God. You must learn to regularly examine yourself and repent.
Repentance does not only cleanse you for the moment, it also activates in you a watchfulness and ability to resist
sin.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, purge me and cleanse me with the blood. I consecrate
my whole body, soul, and spirit to you in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR LIBYA
Background: Libya is an Islamic nation with over 70% unreached with the Gospel. The Christian community is growing,
but the Protestants and Independent groups which are more active in faith and practice are fewer compared to the nominal
ones. There is high demand for pastoral care across the denominations.
We are praying for more effective teaching ministries to come into Libya.
Dear Lord, give the leaders wisdom that they may be able to do things beyond their understanding. Help them to
choose the right path when they make decisions on behalf of the nation
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in
Jerusalem and that your purposes be
established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

Dear Father, let the passion for souls be the driving force of the
church.
