SCRIPTURAL TEXT: Genesis 22:17 KJV
Indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as the
sand which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies
God’s promise of blessing to us was initiated in the covenant that He made with Abraham. God tested Abraham and Abraham passed his test. He obeyed God to the very end, even when it would have cost the life of his only son, whom he so loved. This act of obedience provoked God to proclaim a perpetual blessing which still suffices today as believers. This opens our eyes to see that a singular act of obedience, can provoke a generational blessing that far outlives us. When the Lord comes with instructions either directly from His Word or through a prophetic instruction from His prophets, it is crucial that you seek to obey such instructions to the latter, because that might just be your test for a multiplied blessing in your life and family.
The man that God seeks to bless is one with an obedient heart; one who puts the instruction of God as priority above all other things. Today, do not procrastinate; act promptly on every instruction you receive this season and your profiting will appear to all. Glory to God!
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, I ask for grace to do every instruction from your word or from the Altar as directed by my Man of God in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR THE UNITY OF THE CHURCH
We pray that the gates of hell against the church will not prevail in Jesus name.
PRAYERS FOR NATIONS LEADERS(CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC)
There are massive numbers of yielded converts but a shortage of disciples has slowed the momentum of growth. Animistic religions may be decreasing on the surface, but their influence is still strong. Also breakdowns between church leaders and missionaries have not helped the work either.
1. We are praying that the church will make discipleship a top priority.
2. Dear lord, take away pride from our leaders that they may seek out good counsel, hear wisdom from others and follow it.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will bless our outreaches weekly, that they will be productive in reaching the people of this city and its environs.
