SCRIPTURAL TEXT:
And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

The pride of life is another level of satanic rule, which challenges the existence and superiority of God, and the denial of creation. It usually manifests as rebellion to authorities like parents, government, spouses
and the Church.
Our opening Scripture shows a clear example of the display of the pride of life, where King Nebuchadnezzar prided himself on the greatness of his kingdom. He magnified and exalted himself as the ultimate god and began to speak against the God of all gods. And for this reason, God abased him by causing him to become as an oxen, eating grass, until the appointed time for his judgement was over. Then his understanding returned to him and he began to acknowledge and to praise God. However, this same display of pride is well replicated in our world today, where a lot of people get carried away, and pride themselves on their achievements or begin to challenge the existence and superiority of God.
As believers, we are not of that spirit. We must not lose cognizance of the fact that everything we are or have, was given to us by God. Let us therefore, acknowledge Him and give Him all the glory and honor that is due to His name. Hallelujah!

Always engage in thanksgiving for whatever God blesses you with whether big or small. Program your mind by it that you are nothing of yourself without God.

Dear Father, purge me of every pride, work your humility in me in Jesus name
E. REDEDICATE YOURSELF TO JESUS TODAY
Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for the privilege of a new day. I am especially grateful for the sacrifice of your Son Jesus on the cross for my redemption, and the privilege to walk with You day by day. I rededicate my life to you today, and declare my submission to Your Word and Your Will. I hereby cast off the works of darkness, and I put on the armour of Light, as I consecrate my body, soul and spirit to you today. Let me life bring you glory now and always. Amen.

G. PRAY FOR A COUNTRY IN NEED TODAY: AUSTRIA
Austria has 15% of its population unreached with the Gospel. Young people are more open to the Gospel than the previous generation in Austria, but churches are poorly equipped for effective youth ministry.
PRAY FOR BARBADOS: We are praying for more intercessors in Austria that they will uphold the openness of the Youths to the Gospel by prayer.

Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Psa. 122:6)
