SCRIPTURAL TEXT: Philippians 2:9-10
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;”

By virtue of Christ’s obedience to the Father in dying on the cross and by His resurrection; God gave Him a Name that is superior to any other name. Our scriptural text shows us that the authority vested in that Name causes all knees to bow. Glory to God!
However, it is the understanding of the name of Jesus coupled with faith in the name that activates the power bestowed on the name. Jesus Himself already assured us that in His Name, we can dispel all evil influences (Mark 16:17). It is important to hold this in your heart each time you use the Name of Jesus.
God has given you the license or authorization to use the Name of Jesus. There is no demonic power including Satan himself that will not flee when the Name of Jesus is used in faith.
Each time you use the Name of Jesus therefore, expect compliance at every level just as though Jesus Himself were present. We have victory always in the Name of Jesus! Halleluyah!
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, may all your promises concerning me this season be fulfilled in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR KIRIBATI
Overpopulation and unemployment combined with increasing alcohol abuse creates a difficult environment in which to grow up. I Kiribati migrate for work on foreign ships but many return home with AIDS or drug problems.
Y: We are praying for revival among the young people, for wholesome lives with godly purpose
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6).
PRAYER FOR NATIONS/LEADERS
We pray for the President of this nation, give him divine wisdom to lead this country.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
We pray oh Lord; bind the church together in love in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, we ask that you would add unto us men and women through all the channels of outreaches and ministry propagation, so that we may grow in number daily in the name of Jesus.
