A vow is a statement of possibility, it is the complete reality of our desire and the way we want it to play out. Oh what a revelation! Vowing is the beginning of the steps to your answered prayers.
An example of a vow is seen in the scripture we read today, Hannah was declaring what she would do if she got the child she desired. This means she was seeing possibility, she had moved from the problem to the solution. Many times, we lock ourselves in the problem while we are expecting a solution. It is time for you to break free by engaging God with a vow.
It is important to note that while making a vow to God, it must be done with a sincere heart, do not make a vow if you will not fulfil it. God does not take pleasure in fools, (Ecclesiastes 5:5).
What are you believing God for that is yet to manifest? Decide now in your heart what you want to give as a vow to God. Then, begin to talk about your answers. Begin to talk about how your money will be used for the house of God when your dream job manifests. Declare how your car will be a tool for the gospel when it arrives. This is what a vow is. As you vow, your answers are coming speedily. Glory to God!
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, thank you for speedy answers to my desires in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR KIRIBATI
Over-population and unemployment combined with increasing alcohol abuse create a difficult environment in which to grow up. kiribati migrate for work on foreign ships but many return home with AIDS or drug problems.
Y: We are praying against every hold of addiction keeping the people bound. We lose the people from its hold.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6).
PRAYER FOR NATIONS/LEADERS
We are praying for the President for divine wisdom to navigate the country when faced with immense challenges regarding public health, a pandemic, financial, hardship, economic shutdowns, racial tensions, devastation from violence and riots in the streets, and great political division among many other things.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
We pray oh Lord; help us to grow in love and unity as directed by the Spirit in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that your light will cover this city that in all places desire for your word and to know your Son will cause men to come to the knowledge of salvation through us in every place.
