SCRIPTURAL TEXT: Proverbs 16:6
By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.
It is quite saddening, to observe that many folks, though born again, seem
to still remain under the bondage of iniquity. Iniquity, refers to sin which is
trans-generational in operation and terrestrial (earthly) in its application.
This means, the effect of the sins in their bloodline, constantly limit them and
ensure they never become who God intended them to be. (Isaiah 14:21-23).
We all have ancestors who did not serve God. Some did not merely disdain serving God, but, sojourned
deep into darkness and practiced abominations before God. This enthrones iniquity and its effects in that
bloodline. Despite having prayed and fasted, many believers have not been able to prevail against the
course of iniquity in their lives. This is not God’s will. Our opening scripture shows us that “by mercy and
truth, iniquity is purged”.
By approaching the courts of heaven in deep repentance and appropriation of the truth of Christ’s finished
works, you can activate mercy and truth on your behalf. By walking in mercy towards others, you also
speedily activate mercy as it is written “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy”. Give no place
therefore to the working of iniquity in your life. Glory to God!
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, thank you for the revelation of your word today, I break from every hold of stagnation and bondage in my life in Jesus name
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be
established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

2. We are praying for the President for divine wisdom to navigate the country when faced with immense challenges regarding public
health, a pandemic, financial hardship, economic shutdowns, racial tensions, devastation from violence and riots in the streets, and
great political division among many other things

Father in the name of Jesus, we cry for a release of your mercy upon every unsaved soul in this city and its environs, that they will be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.
