DO NOT STOP LEARNING – Daily Devotional

A wise man will hear, and will increase learning, and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels.

Proverbs 1:5 (NKJV)

Learning never ends. Our opening text today shows us that a wise man is constantly listening to learn, and adhering to wise counsel. Thus, it is unwise for one to come to a place where he thinks he knows all or has seen it all.

The right attitude towards learning includes curiosity, openness, and a hunger for improvement. In other words, you must have a deep-seated desire to grow beyond where you are, which will lead you into having a genuine interest in understanding how things work. Much of this process may not even happen in the four walls of a school, but as you go about your daily activities, your mind will magnet information as you observe the people and happenings around you.

Another important way to learn is by reading. On the pages of a book, you will be exposed to both the inspiration and experience of the author. When reading the Bible, for instance, you would also gain access to the counsel of God about different areas of your life, career or business. This is priceless.

Overall, adopt the disposition of a ready learner as you step out every day. Set your mind on learning something new about each area of your life, career, or business daily, and learn to keep track of such knowledge as you apply them in your life. This is another skill to master on your journey to success.

Father in the name of Jesus, create in me a fresh appetite for knowledge and help me maintain the right attitude towards learning, in the name of Jesus.

🏞️ PRAYER FOR A NATION – NETHERLANDS
Almost half of the population in the Netherlands are non-religious. However, there are signs of hope as we see growth in the number and strength of many independent churches and immigrant churches.

1. Prayer for the nation: Father in the name of Jesus, we break every hold of the devil over this nation that is keeping the people from seeing the light; we pray that their eyes be opened in the name of Jesus.
2. Prayer for the leaders: Dear Father, we pray for the leaders of Netherland that they will be honest and morally upright; and that they will have strong moral principles in line with your standard of righteousness in Jesus name.

🕍PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, show your mercy and favour in this set time to Israel. Let your mercy not depart from Israel, in Jesus Name

💒 PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, we ask that you will help the church to walk in love and oneness; we come against every spirit of disunity in the name of Jesus.
☄️ PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Dear Father, we pray for the unsaved in our nation, we ask that you will help them to acknowledge the truth, in the name of Jesus.
