GOOD, RIGHT, AND TRUTH – Daily Devotional

In our world today, there is a gross generalization in how we perceive what is good,
right or truth. This has largely affected our way of thinking, clouded our
judgement and affected how we live our day to day lives.
What is Good is often termed Right and what is Right is often labeled as Truth. This however is not so with God.
Our scriptural text reveals to us that in the system of God, these three concepts mean different things. Hence, there is a difference between good, right and truth. This can be easily seen in the case where what is good for one person may not be good for another.

Also, what some geographical locations have accepted as right, is yet seen to be totally unacceptable elsewhere. For instance, while homosexuality might be acceptable and dimmed right in some nations,
it is refuted as wrong in other nations. This therefore goes to necessitate the introduction of the dimension of truth.
Truth is the highest dimension because, it is God’s dimension. It supersedes what is good or right, because it is
absolute, eternal and unchanging, cutting across all dispensation, location or race. The Word of God is Truth, therefore, that which negates the Word is null and void no matter how good or right it seems. Living by Truth therefore, is living in God’s dimension and therefore, living in God’s results. This is the Father’s pleasure concerning.
