REJUVENATE YOURSELF – Daily Devotional

Rejuvenation is the process of restoring or revitalizing something, including one’s physical and mental well-being. It is an important process that ought to be inculcated into your daily schedule as one who intends to achieve and sustain success.

However how busy your day gets, it is important to find time to retreat, reflect and restrategize for greater performance. This is not just about creating a session to rest your body. Rather, it is an attempt to shut out the noise, including the overwhelming praise that accompanies success, and the seeming disappointment in times of failure, so you may refresh yourself in prayer, and receive a new inspiration to forge towards success.

We see this practice in the life of Jesus, as our opening text today shows us. After the miraculous feeding of over five thousand, the Bible shows us that He sent the people away, including his disciples, so He may spend time alone in prayer. This is instructive.
The practice of having a time apart to fellowship with God, and meditatively reflect on your life and work, should be a top priority for everyone seeking to have a good and sustained success. In such a time of reflection, you have the unique opportunity to rejuvenate your body, soul and spirit.

Thus, reconsider your schedule today, and be sure to observe a good time for fellowship, reflection and rejuvenation. This is a secret to longevity and productivity.

🙏 DAILY PRAYER GUIDE
Father in the name of Jesus, thank you for the wisdom of rest, fellowship and rejuvenation. Help me to apply these principles in my life today, in Jesus Name.

🏞️ PRAYER FOR A NATION – NEPAL
The largest religion is Hinduism with 93% unreached with the Gospel. Freedom of religion is guaranteed by law, but only in limited measures. Non-Hindus cannot proselytize. If they do, they risk fines, imprisonment, and in the case of expatriates, expulsion.

1. Prayer for the nation: Father in the name of Jesus, cause the believers in Nepal to be strengthened in their spirit to sustain their evangelism even in the face of threats of violence, in the name of Jesus.
2. Prayer for the leaders: Oh Lord, cause your wisdom to rest upon the legislators of Nepal, so that they may make laws that favour the cause of the Gospel, in the name of Jesus.

🕍 PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen

Dear Father, we ask that passion for souls will be the driving force of the church today, so we all may be united in purpose, in Jesus name.
