…he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6b (NKJV)
The people in our lives, our teams, or our organization may not all be committed at the same level. In fact, the tendency is that we would have those who go the extra mile and some who only do the barest minimum. It is wisdom to differentiate between these two or more sets of individuals and create systems to reward their commitment accordingly.
Interestingly, our opening text today shows us that this wisdom is from God; He rewards those who diligently seek Him. Thus, rewarding loyalty is an important attribute that we also ought to apply in our own relationships.
As a principle, learn to reward the attributes that you hope or desire to multiply. By recognizing and showing appreciation for a person’s loyalty, for example, you demonstrate that you value and respect their commitment to you or your organization. It is also a way to encourage that person to keep up his or her commitment and continue to be an example for others to follow.
As a business, you may consider rewarding the loyalty of your customers by creating special discounts, offers, or exclusive access to events or products. These types of rewards can help incentivize customers to continue doing business with you, which can lead to increased loyalty and repeat business over time.
In a personal context, rewarding loyalty may involve showing appreciation for someone’s consistent support, kindness, or reliability. This could take the form of a heartfelt thank you note, a small gift, a surprise on their anniversary, etc.
Therefore, whether in raising your children, building friendship or leading a team, look out for attributes that resonate with your values, and single them out for recognition and appreciation. This is a key in building stronger and lasting relationships based on mutual respect, trust, and appreciation.

- Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, cause your fear and holy reverence to rest upon the leadership of Nepal, that they may make decisions that favour the course of the Gospel, in Jesus name.
