Daily Devotional: THANKSGIVING ATTRIBUTES YOUR VICTORY TO GOD.

1 Corinthians 15:57.

“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Many attribute certain victories and
advancements in their lives to their physical effort alone, but God is the
source of every victory you may have. Some may even say; ‘I prospered by my own
hand; I am here because I worked hard, or I got this or that because I knew so
and so’. But the reality is that all victories come from God alone.

Failing to attribute to God the
victory that He has given may have dire consequences. For example, in the days
of Daniel, King Nebuchadnezzar attributed the building of Babylon to the might
of his own power but we all know how the story ended up in the book of Daniel
4:30-32 how God brought him down from his kingly throne to become like an
animal eating grass in the forest.

No matter the effort that any man
may exerts, God is behind every success equation. It is therefore wisdom to
ascribe every victory in your life to Him alone. Someone may be a channel
through which God brings you a blessing, but remember that God placed it in
their heart to be of help in the first place. He may use man, but He will
always be the source.

Prophecy 1: May your eyes be opened to see God in
everything in your life in Jesus name. Amen.

Prophecy 2: As you step out today, may all the good things of life be attracted to you in Jesus name. Amen.

Action Points.

W: See God in everything; never attribute your blessings to your
strength or to men but to God always.

X: I decree and I declare, that I am blessed on every side.

Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Psa. 122:6).

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for your never-ending love towards me, and for your faithfulness and mercies that I enjoy with every new day. To you be all praise forevermore. I come before you today with all my heart, declaring my love for you and my sole dependency on you. I declare that I trust you with my whole heart even as I consecrate my whole body, soul, and spirit to you right now. Let your will be done in my life today and every day in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
