And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the
loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all. Let the
people praise thee, O God; Let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; And God, even
our own God, shall bless us
One of Satan’s major strategies against believers is to continually rob them of their joy. As simple as this may sound, it is one of the enemy’s most effective weapons in limiting believers and stopping them from
experiencing the power of God in their day to day living.
Our opening scripture shows us the incredible power that is unleashed when we praise God. We see that praise activates God to bless and also causes the earth to yield her increase! However, it takes joy to truly praise and it takes praise to mobilize God. Little wonder, the enemy focuses on robbing you of your joy.
He often does this by inciting you to set your focus on the situation, rather than on God’s ability. This way, he gets you to fear, worry or get bitter and offended thus, robbing you of your praise. Did I hear you say ‘never again’?
It is time to go against the strategy of the enemy to steal your joy and stop your praise. Decide today, to turn your gaze away from the challenges and shortcomings in your life. Choose rather to rejoice and to praise, knowing that your praise activates the blessing of increase and multiplication. Halleluyah
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, I pray that nothing will steal my joy and stop me from praising you today in Jesus name.

Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

There are massive numbers of yielded converts but a shortage of disciples has slowed the momentum of
growth. Animistic religions may be decreasing on the surface, but their influence is still strong. Also breakdowns between church leaders and missionaries have not helped the work either.
1. We are praying that the souls in the land will be preserved, that none will be lost.
2. Dear Lord, give the leaders wisdom that they may be able to do things beyond their understanding. Help them to choose the right path when they make decisions on behalf of the nation.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, pour out your Spirit mightily upon the lost and unsaved souls in our city so that many would begin to receive the Gospel that we preach.
