SCRIPTURAL TEXT: Isaiah 58:8
Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And
your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard
Many a time, believers get stranded in their quest to experience
the blessing.
This is often because, they desire to experience the benefits of serving God, without first aligning themselves with the principles that secure the manifestation of those blessings.
Our opening scripture begins with the word “then”, telling us of the presence of a pre-stated
principle, which when engaged, will cause your light to break forth and bring you speedy recovery.
We find that principle to be the Alms Fast. The scriptures reveal that sharing your food with the
hungry, providing the homeless with shelter, clothing the naked and helping those who are in great
need around you, is a powerful key to your recovery and blessing.
How wonderful! This powerful secret is not meant to be a one-time practice, but, should be a life-style for you, knowing its potency. It takes consistency to get maximum results. So, how soon do you want your
light to break forth?
Do you want to recover quickly from every ailing situation? You need not be
stranded in your quest for the blessing anymore! Go on and do the Word. Hallelujah!
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, fill my heart with compassion for the less privileged and help me not to withhold my hand when the opportunity comes in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR THE UNITY OF THE CHURCH
We pray that the body of Christ will be a formidable force to bringing about a mighty revival on the earth in Jesus name.

After the war, out of the 1.3 million who fled to other lands only 400,000 had returned by 2000. Most of the internally displaced are still homeless. Only a very small percentage of the population has ever been clearly presented with the Gospel.
1. We are praying for the people of Bosnia that they might find healing for their deep psychological wounds as a result of
the war.
2. Father, remove leaders and men of authority that you did not set up. Give the nation selfless leaders, men and women of
wisdom and understanding; leaders who will not cause the people to err.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we decree that the feet of ripe souls are led our way today, so that they may be established in your kingdom.
